Avignon Market under the covered market
Are you looking to visit the Avignon market during your next stay in Provence?
On holiday at the Avignon campsite, don’t miss out on a visit to the city market at the Avignon market halls, recognisable from afar by their green wall: for over 120 years, they have housed the stalls of local producers of spices and olive oil, wines, Avignon ham, fresh fruit and vegetables.
There you can taste the culinary creations of caterers specializing in Provençal cuisine, and you will also find local craft products such as soaps and essential oils.
The renowned Avignon market halls are considered a mecca of French gastronomy. The greatest chefs sometimes come here to give demonstrations.
